FET FIRST Animal Production NQF Level 2 deals with the farming of poultry and goats. Topics covered include breeds and breeding, feeding, diseases and pests and their control, and general management and housing for the various breeds. Basic anatomy and physiology of these animals is also dealt with in order to ensure that students have good foundational knowledge.
